Vi vill driva en förskoleverksamhet efter Maria Montessoris idéer och pedagogik. Detta innebär att vi utgår från varje enskilt barns behov och förutsättningar så att barnet kan utvecklas till en trygg individ. Vi vill uppmuntra barnets självständiga sätt att lära och tar till vara på barnets egna intressen.
Hjälp mig att hjälpa mig själv är ett barncitat som vi i personalen ofta återkommer till.
Det sociala samspelet mellan barnen ser vi som en väldigt viktig del av vår verksamhet. Vi arbetar med gruppdynamiken bland annat i samling.Vi arbetar också med montessoripedagogikens särskilda arbetsmateriel och uppmuntrar barnen till fri lek.
